The garden has really been taking off lately and we have been picking something every day. It is fantastic. There is already talk about next year’s garden and all the wonderful things we can grow. We have some baking to do with some of our garden goodies. Keep your eye out for upcoming posts!

My photo of my “family picking veggies” is of Abby. I’ll send it to you by email. Actually, Abby was more interested in the chickens than in helping me pick green beans – her favorite veggie.
My garden is growing like crazy – especially the zucchini, which has never grown well for me. Started out with orderly rows and lots of space between them. Then the zucc and tomatoes took off. Now the garden looks like a bad hair day… though it has lots of veggies.
We’ve been buying way too much zucchini at the farmers’ market in town & making lots of zucchini bread. Love to hear any other creative ideas! My mom said you can shred it & freeze it for baking in the winter, so we might go that route…
