Handprint Apple Tree
24 Sep

We are on an Apple kick right now. We have been to the apple orchard 3 times already and plan to visit every week until they make us stop coming (hahaha). We’ve been reading books on apple trees, eating apples, and (you guessed it) doing apple projects.
My Kids Make a “Handprint Apple Tree”, and yours can too! Its fun and easy, check it out:
First, trace your hand (and up part of your arm) on brown paper, then cut it out:

Then draw the top (bushy part) of the tree on red/orange paper and cut it out:

Glue the pieces together so that the handprint is the branches and trunk of the tree.
We added pieces of crinkled red tissue paper for apples:

The finished product!

Thanks for the idea! I could only see one of your pictures, so I winged it when it came to the tissue paper and the bushy part of the tree.
We added glitter to the tree trunks, too. I can send you a picture if you email me!
I’ll be bookmarking your page for future craft ideas!
