Snowman Pancakes
17 Jan

Last week we got a lot of snow. Since then, there has been lots of talk of sledding and snowboarding and building snowmen! The snow we got was really powdery, which unfortunately made it difficult to build with. But alas! We can still have a snowman…..
My Kids Make Snowman Pancakes, and yours can too! It is fun, and tasty.
I made pancakes {gluten free in our case} using a round metal mold. A metal cookie cutter would work great as well. Spray the mold or cookie cutter with oil, then place it on the pan. Pour the batter into the circle mold and let it cook. I was able to remove the mold from the pancake once one side had cooked. Then I flipped the pancake and cooked the other side.
Once you have your circle pancakes cooked:
Place two pancakes on a plate, touching on one end {even slightly overlapping works}. Lightly cover the tops with honey {or maple syrup} to help hold the toppings on. Then let your kids decorate their snowmen!
We sprinkled on coconut for the snow.

Then we used chocolate chips, craisens, raisens, apple slices, cherries{basically anything we could find} to decorate our snowmen.

The kid LOVED these pancakes. They had fun decorating their snowmen, and of course eating them as well. The snowmen were cute and tasty!
