Hang Your Kids’ Artwork

24 Feb

Yesterday we spent the day painting. The day before, it was coloring.  All this painting and coloring created, not just beautiful pictures but, a pile of papers that needed a home. I didn’t want to just shove the kids’ creations into an art file, or a box. Instead I wanted to hang their art on the walls, just like a museum.

My Kids Make artwork and need a place to hang it! Are you looking for an EASY way to display a growing pile of art?

This really is a simple and cheap way to display artwork in your home.  I strung yarn {or you could use thin wire, twin, etc} across a wall horizontally and tied it onto a thumbtack at each end.  Tie the yarn on very tight, as it will sag once you add the artwork.

Use wooden clothes pins to clip the drawings onto the yarn. This can really accommodate any space. Have a large wall? String multiple levels of yarn across, making rows of artwork. Small space? Run the yarn vertically from floor to ceiling instead.

Happy creating!

I really like the watercolors. Some of them look like they should be framed.
