Easter Sugar Cookies
12 Apr

See this cookie set? It is awesome.
It’s the Stamp & Style Easter Cookie Cutters from Williams Sonoma.
Let me be clear in saying that Williams Sonoma didn’t sponsor this post.
I kinda wish they did, because that would mean that they know who I am.
{beyond the address label they affix to my catalog mailings}

This set really got me thinking about different ways to decorate cookies.
There’s cookie cutters, stamps, rollers, sprinkles, frosting…
the list is getting longer and longer!
My Kids Make “Easter Sugar Cookies”, and yours can too! Pull out your sugar cookie recipes…
We make a lot of sugar cookies at our house, but we have never attempted rolling patterns…or stamping patterns onto them. GENIUS!
It is really just one more fun way to let your kids be creative with their baking. I love it!
We mixed up a batch of our favorite sugar cookie recipe (gluten free & dairy free in our case).
Then the kids began stamping and rolling patterns into the cookie dough.

BAKE
then
FROST

{See those squeeze frosting bottles. I love those. Maybe some day I will do a giveaway…}

I hope you have fun making your own cookies with your kids.
Get out your sprinkles. Get out your cookie cutters.
Then let your kids create their own cookie masterpieces!

So fun…. I want to do it too.
What a great idea for kids and adults.
Give the kids hugs and kisses for me — and tell then I said “Super Great Decorating”
I like the size of that Easter Egg cookie cutter. That is a Poppi sized cookie.
What a brilliant looking cookie cutter set! Bet the kids loved making their perfect Easter cookies. Fabulous!

That looks fabulous. I want those squeeze frosters. Where did you get them? Those would be perfect for my little guy. Oh and I will be trying your gluten-free cookie mix, I find the gluten-free dough textures difficult to work with but yours looks perfect. Thanks!
